WSB-TV has posted the following video describing a rash of hundreds of homeowners with 3-tab shingles made by Owens Corning complaining about blistering requiring replacement. Others don’t know of the problem and are unaware of the problems this will cause, especially through the summer heat.

If you’ve had your roof installed, replaced, or repaired using these shingles in the past 5 – 10 years, you should have them inspected as soon as possible! Owens Corning may or may not honor the warranty on these shingles (as stated in the video below) but they will need to be replaced as soon as possible to avoid further problems and unnecessary costs!
